 What do words do to you? Do the words do anything to  you? What I Want My Words to Do to You is a documentary, directed by Eve Ensler.

This document was about women in jail and the crimes they commited and how they feel. Ensler is trying to get these women to open up and explain why they did their crime and the story behind it.

The camera work in this documentay is prety good. Swiching angles alot and extreme close ups helps you see the women's real feelings. There wasn't really any sound or music besides the talking. but the music that was played fit the setting perfectly. The lighting in the classroom setting was fair, it could have been brighter. The setting in the gym was good. The way everything was dark except for the speaker and the prisoner who's story was being read. the actors who were hired to perform the prisoners writings were great. They showed the same emotions that te women did, including crying.

In my opinion, i would recommend this movie because it shows women in jail as real people. Society thinks of evey man or women in jail as a beast or hard core criminal, but not all are. Some people make mistakes and it cause them to lose their life. Some things you can never take back. I would recomment this docmentary to women in jail, the family members of women in jail. Any women, this documentary is very moving and stirs alot of emotions.
